This policy explains what personal information Revival ("we", "us", "Revival") collects when you use revivalryf.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under Indian law — including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.

1. Who we are

Revival is a multi-brand retailer of branded casual wear and streetwear, operating from Mumbai, India. For privacy-related queries, contact us at admin@revivalryf.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only the information needed to deliver your order and improve our service:

• Account & order information: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, order history.
• Payment information: processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We do not store your card number, CVV, or UPI PIN on our servers.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location — collected via cookies and standard analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel) for site improvement.
• Communication preferences: if you join our newsletter, we store your email and any tags you select.

3. How we use it

• To process and deliver your orders, send order updates, and handle returns or refunds.
• To verify your identity at checkout and prevent fraud.
• To send you transactional emails and SMS about your order, account, or returns.
• To send marketing communications (with your consent, which you can withdraw any time).
• To improve the site, measure campaign performance, and personalise what you see.
• To comply with our legal obligations under Indian law.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, only with the following categories of trusted partners:

• Payment gateway: Razorpay Software Private Limited.
• Shipping & logistics: the courier partner assigned to your order (Delhivery, Bluedart, Shiprocket etc.).
• Email & SMS: GoHighLevel (transactional and marketing).
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Meta (Facebook) Pixel — for aggregate measurement only.
• Hosting: Hostinger.
• Legal: we may disclose information if required by a valid court order, government request, or to enforce our terms.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your bag, and measure site performance. You can clear cookies any time via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may break login and checkout.

6. Data retention

We retain order and account data as long as you have an active account, and for the time required to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws in India (typically up to 8 years). After that, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights (under the DPDP Act, 2023)

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update the personal data we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity.
• File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you feel your rights have been violated.

8. Children

Revival is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption, password hashing (bcrypt), CSRF protection, and PCI-DSS compliant payments. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong unique password and do not share your account credentials.

10. Updates

We may revise this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where required by law, communicated directly. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
